Patients can create their own Nemours app account starting at age 12. This is because federal and state law require us to protect certain aspects of an adolescent's medical record.Īt age 18, your child is legally an adult and the Nemours app access for the parent will automatically terminate. When the child is between the ages of 12 and 17, certain aspects of the medical record are no longer viewable. Parents and legal guardians can have access to their child's medical record when the child is under 18. This can be the Delaware Care Giver form or appropriate court documentation. Nemours requires proof of guardianship in the medical record for access to be granted to the legal guardian.
